You should add a description and screenshots so that people will be tempted to play past the first zone.
I love the style and the gameplay. (timed knockout is a favorite of mine.) How long did it take you to make all of this? The presentation is stellar, besides it's rare to see a 64x64 game that doesn't struggle with depth percetion.
P.S.: I think I may have found an audio bug? To replicate: ram as hard as you can into any pole. The audio deforms until it goes silent. However, the audio resets every time you finish a lap.
Thanks! This is an early build, still working on progression and tuning the controls. There aren't many cars appearing in the first area, but will be more challenging soon. I'm surprised someone played this already XD

It's probably been a 20-30 hour effort so far. I've had a lot of fun with the art, trying to get things as readable as possible, glad I succeeded :D
Yeah, if you hit things hard, there's an audio bug right now, will fix that up before the time is up!
