Use the arrow keys to move the rabbit and eat as many carrots as you can while avoiding other animals.  Carrots are worth 10 points at base value.

Each living animal increases your score multiplier by the following amount: Foxes 1, Wolves 4, Lions 8, Bears 16.

As you earn points, the map will increase in size.  Only eagles can move through rocks, rabbits and foxes can move through bushes.  While in a bush, animals are hidden from sight, but you can still be eaten by a fleeing fox or a swooping eagle.

If too many land animals are on the map, eagles will appear instead, who swoop across the map to attack you.

If animals eat enough, they change into the animal above them in the food chain.  The food chain is Bears > Lions > Wolves > Foxes > Rabbit.

PS: Ran out of time.  Wanted to make it a bit easier to get the wolf to eat the foxes through clever movement.  Right now the primary strategy is to clump foxes together so that a wolf can eat the one who gets blocked by the others.  I think there's something to this idea but needs more time in the design phase.

Thanks for playing!

FUN & CUTE!!!

I love the art style and smooth animation!

I wonder if the tree in the game icon would be added in future. The game is really enjoyable! Thank you :)

fun game! It would be cool if you could move diagonally in one turn like the predators. I think I might have been able to do it when pressing the arrow keys at the same time but it was kind of hard. Maybe clicking on your next desired tile would be good.

Other than that part, I enjoyed playing this! It was fun to hide in the bushes and have the predators looking for me running across the other end of the map, that felt good lol.

Thanks! Not being able to move diagonally is a design choice.  You have the advantage in moving twice as fast, but they have the extra maneuverability.  It does make it easier to get yourself closed in, but I felt otherwise it would be a bit too easy.  Something to consider, I appreciate your feedback!
